Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST), also known as the Energy Commission of Malaysia, is the statutory body responsible for regulating the electricity and piped gas supply industries in Peninsular Malaysia and Sabah. Established under the Energy Commission Act 2001, ST commenced operations on January 1, 2002, succeeding the Department of Electricity and Gas Supply.
